PV 72 hours forecast
PV 72 hours forecast and data transmission to the network operator
The forecast of production of the power supplied for today, tomorrow and the day after is possible thanks to Meteosmit. The system is based on forecasts of mesh resolution of EPSON Weather Center (EMC), specifically reworked.
The system uses predictors based on plant data and on short-term weather forecast data, specifically on irradiation parameters, temperature, temperature of the panels, and calculates the expected production in 24/48/72 hours and beyond.
The system also works with self-learning algorithms and therefore the forecast errors are gradually reduced.
The weather forecast is updated every 12 hours to correct any errors due to sudden changes in the weather situation.
Integration with existing systems is also possible with the sole provision of weather data processed by Meteosmit system of mesh resolution and updates every 12 hours and for the entire Italian territory. In the presence of a weather station data can be appropriately calibrated to improve adherence with the local microclimate and also make them useful for the already existing control systems. The parameters of interest that can be chosen from the more than 30 are available on an hourly average, and numerical prediction to 72 hours with updates every 12 hours. Data can be supplied with standard communication protocols or specific, email, SMS, FTP or via the web at a limited cost.
